The Top 40 game

The first half was controlled by sophomore guards Brevin Brimble  (Doherty, Colorado Miners 16’s) and LeChaun Duhart (Grandview, Colorado Hawks 16 -Red) Brinmble had nine points in the half and was able to use his high level ball handling to get in the lane easily and dish. Then knocked down open three pointers.  Duhart handled the ball well, passed it well and shot lights out for most of the day. He has shown quite an improvement over the past year.

Each big had their moments. Gumber showed plenty of skill and ability to catch and finish in traffic above the rim. McCord had all the moves and rebounded well.  Verk showed that he can play inside or out driving from the wing and finishing in the paint and knocking down three’s.
