After scrutinizing schedules and head to head match ups over the long Christmas break here is the new 5A Top 10
1. Denver East (7-2) – East takes on Highlands Ranch tomorrow, Saturday 1/4 @ 7:00 P.M. at Highlands Ranch
2. Fossil Ridge (8-0) – The Sabercats are ranked 6th nationally by MaxPreps ranking system
3. Overland (6-2) – Takes on #4 Regis tomorrow, Saturday 1/4 @ 7:00 P.M at Regis
4. Regis (6-1) – Two Top 10 opponents on back to back nights: tonight at #8 Grandview 7:00 and Saturday 1/4 hosting Overland @ 7:00
5. Mountain Vista (8-0) – Travels to undefeated Arapahoe Saturday 1/4 @ 1:00
6. Eaglecrest (6-2) – The Raptors two losses come to the #1 and #2 ranked teams in the state. The Raptors go to Parker to play Chaparral tonight (1/3) @ 7:00
7. Cherry Creek ( 6-2) – The Bruins have one in-state loss to Denver East. They play 3A Manual tomorrow @ Manual at 2:00
8. Grandview (7-1) – Host #4 Regis tonight (1/3) at 7:00
9. Legend (6-2) – Senior Post Zach Mihalicz leads the Titans in scoring and rebounding, 16.3 ppg & 7.9 rpg.
10. Rangeview (6-2) – The Raiders already have 1 win under their belt after the break, defeating Aurora Central in the APS tournament last night. They face Gateway tonight (1/3) @ 6:00 and Hinkley tomorrow (1/4) @ 4:00. Both games will be played at Gateway.
