The Eastern Conference Notes
Denver East- Even though University of Colorado commit Dom Collier is not a regular at the league, East is still a very tough team to beat. Carey, Griffin, Harrell, Robinson are all capable of having monster games.
Rangeview – tough and young, led by CSU commit Jeremiah Paige, the Raiders style of play is tailor made for summer league.
Highlands Ranch – Missing two key guards but they have the best big man in the state 6’8 senior Zach Braxton.
Cherokee Trail – Another young team but some the best young players in the state. Sophomores Ronnie Barfield and David Thornton lead the way.
Thomas Jefferson – Coach Lehman has some nice pieces in place, senior 6’7 wing Tre Andres could be the nicest of them all.
Lincoln – Coach Valdez always has his team playing hard and with a point guard like Michael Sparks, the Lancers will be in every game.
In the next DESL post, the other half the Eastern Conference will be broken down.
The Western Conference games are being played at Manual High School and the results have not been reported yet. As soon as they are, the standings will be published.
