The Hawks 15’s advanced all the way to the championship game of the 15’s bracket where they lost 79-66 to the Las Vegas Prospects -Gold. The Hawks jumped out early on the prospects and hand nearly a 20 point lead by half-time. It was the Hawks defense that spurred the first half success. Sam Masten, Jon’il Fugett and Xai’Vion Hatch-Jackson where all over the top of the hawks zone defenses creating turnovers and harassing the Prospects guards. Masten was shot it well from the outside. Fugett and Jackson attacked the lanes and had multiple assists. However in the second half the Prospects adjusted to the pressure defense and was able to score seemingly at will. Meanwhile the hawks could make a bucket or a free throw.  The Hawks held the lead until 4:30 remaining in the game then the Prospects went on a 19-11 run to take the championship. The Hawks had a great run and finished the tournament 5-1 all while missing standout guard Daylen Kountz.
