Basketball Colorado’s 5A Top 10 – Week of 1/18/2015

Another week down and the cream is starting to rise to the top.

10. Mountain Range (11-2) – Mustangs host Fossil Ridge on Tuesday 1/20 in a key Northern League game, then travel to Loveland on Friday 1/23.

10. Fossil Ridge (8-5) – As mentioned above the Sabercats travel to Mountain Range on Tuesday and then make the trek to Greeley West on 1/22.

9. Mountain Vista (12-2) – After the win versus Legend last week Mountain Range jumps into the top 10 this week and play Ponderosa on Tuesday 1/20.

8. Denver East (6-6) – East takes on #1 Regis Jesuit at Regis on Tuesday 1/20 in their biggest game of the year and should be full strength. Then Angels  then travel to JFK on 1/22.

7. Eaglecrest (9-3) – The Raptors play Cherokee Trail on Wednesday 1/21 for control of the Centennial League and then play Grandview on Friday 1/23.

6. Chaparral (10-3) – Host Highlands Ranch on Tuesday 1/20  then travel over to Rock Canyon on Friday 1/23 to take on the #4 Jags.

5. Overland (8-5) – The Trailblazers travel to Cherry Creek to take on the  Bruins on Wednesday 1/21 and then host Cherokee Trail Friday 1/23.

4. Rock Canyon (11-3) – The Jaguars play host this week to Heritage on Tuesday 1/20 and then #6 Chaparral comes a calling on Friday 1/23.

3. ThunderRidge (14-1) – The Grizzlies host CastleView on Tuesday 1/20 and then  on Saturday 1/24 Highlands Ranch game.

2. Dakota Ridge (13-0) – They have had some close games recently and will get tested by Lakewood sophomore shooter Kolton Peterson on Wednesday 1/21. The Eagles then face Bear Creek on Friday 1/23.

1. Regis Jesuit (13-0) – Easily handled the Warriors on Tuesday and then faced their first real close game situation of the year versus Fossil Ridge but came back and held on for the win. Another  solid week for the Raiders with #8 Denver East on Tuesday 1/20 and then Legend on Friday 1/23.
