Basketball Colorado 5A Top10 – Week of Jan 22

The best game of the season was played at Smoky Hill last week when Colbey Ross nailed a step back 3-pointer at the end of regulation to win it.  Other than that it was pretty much an uneventful in the 5A Top10 last week.  However, this week is different with multiple Top10 matchups starting with #6 Eaglecrest travel to #7 Denver East on Monday.

1 ThunderRidge (13-1)

Castle View and Legend are on the docket this week for the Grizzlies 

2. George Washington (14-2)

The Patriots dive into the heart of DPL play this week with games against Lincoln and Denver South. 

3.  Chatfield (14-1)

Chatfield continues to blow through Jeffco 5A. Columbine and Pomona get there chance to slow down the chargers.

4. Grandview (14-1)

The Wolves get started with round two in the Centennial League. Mullen then Smoky Hill.

5.  Rock Canyon (13-2)

The Jaguars face heritage and a fully healthy Mountain Vista team,

6. Eaglecrest (11-3)

The Raptors have a tough week ahead Denver East, Cherokee Trail with a healthy Jaizec Lottie and Overland. 

7.  Denver East (10-4)

The Angels have a testing week after just getting by Thomas Jefferson on Saturday. #6 Eaglecrest, Kennedy and then another date at the Thunderdome on Saturday with Bello (FNE).

8. Smoky Hill (11-4)

Faces Cherry Creek on Wednesday and then look to avenge its early league loss to Grandview on Friday.

9. Doherty  (10-3) 

The Spartans got a thrilling win last week over Rampart. This week Fountain-Fort Carson and Liberty are on the agenda.

10.  Fort Collins (12-3)

Lambkins have been flirting with the Top10 for a while now. Fort Collins travels to Fairview and then hosts Loveland.
