Basketball Colorado 4A Top10 – Week of January 28, 2018

The play in 4A last week did not disappoint. Pueblo South and West played in front of a huge crowd, Thistlewood scored 47 points, and Palmer Ridge knocked off then #1 Lewis-Palmer.  Still plenty of teams knocking on the door for Top10 consideration.

1. Pueblo South (14-2)

The Colts have three games this week. Pueblo East and Central then Pine Creek.

2. Longmont (13-1)

Not a hotter team in 4A at the moment except for South. The Trojans face Mountain View, Niwot, and an interesting game against Rocky Mountain.

3. Lewis-Palmer (15-2)

Rangers lost to Palmer Ridge in a rivalry game and look to bounce back against Vista Ridge and Falcon this week.

4. Pueblo West (12-4)

Upset by East last week the Cyclones have three games this week. West will play Central, County and a tough Liberty team.

5. Golden (14-3)

Wheat Ridge on Wednesday and #6 Valor on at home on Friday in a game that will more than likely decide the Jeffco 4A race.

6.Valor (11-6)

The Eagles can’t over look Green Mountain before the showdown with #5 Golden.

7.  Mesa Ridge (12-4)

The Grizzlies face TCA on Monday and then #9 Widefield on Wednesday.

8. Silver Creek (12-3)

The Raptors have 3 games this week one with Littleton, one with Niwot, and one with Greeley Central.

9. Widefield (12-4)

This week could decide the Gladiators fate in league play with games against #7 Mesa Ridge and Elizabeth.

10. Evergreen (13-4)

D’Evelyn and Littleton are who Evergreen plays this week.
