Basketball Colorado 4A Top10 Week of January 14, 2018

The only thing that is certain at the moment in 4A basketball is that Lewis-Palmer is the cream of the crop. Pueblo West and South are very much teams to be reckoned with.  Everything else is up for grabs. League play will not be a friend to anyone. Both Silver Creek and Golden took their first losses in league play as did Elizabeth.

1. Lewis-Palmer (11-0)

The Rangers are still perfect.

2. Pueblo West (10-2)

The Cyclones play Pubelo East and Centennial this week.

3. Pueblo South (10-2)

Pueblo Central and County are on the slate for the Colts.

4. Longmont (8-1)

Trojans get Sliver Creek this week.

5. Golden (9-2)

Demons lost at Valor last week in league play and will face Littleton and Green Mountain this week.

6. Silver Creek (9-1)

Silver Creek dropped from the ranks of the unbeaten and will have a tough test against Longmont this week.

7. Evergreen (11-2)

They will get tested by Valor this week.

8. Valor (7-6)

Undefeated in league play so far. Not sure anyone other than the top three or four 4A teams can match up with them at the moment. Evergreen will be a good measuring stick.

9.  Windsor (9-4)

Undefeated in league with a big game against Mead this week.

10.  Ponderosa (11-2)

The Mustangs lost last week to County but beat 5A Heritage. But the schedule get real difficult with Chaparral and #1 Rock Canyon this week.
