Basketball Colorado 4A Top10 Week of Jan 8

1. Sand Creek (10-1)

Since their wake up call against Pueblo Central, the Scorpions have been dialed in. Sand Creek faces Discovery Canyon and Falcon this week.

2.Valor Christian (8-3)

Valor handled all three opponents leaving no doubt along the way that they should be considered to be one of the favorites to make it to the Coliseum. Eagles face D’Evelyn and Wheat Ridge this week.

3. Pueblo West (8-1)

West lost in overtime to Rampart. An Argument could be made that the Cyclones shouldn’t have dropped at all.  The tests continue at the Rampart tournament with CSCS and St. Mary’s.

4. Vista Peak (8-1)

VP faces #5 Pueblo South in what could be the best 4A game of the week.

5. Pueblo South (7-4)

Vista Peak and County are on the schedule this week for the Colts.

6. Golden (9-2)

Golden lost to Valor and look to bounce back against Standley Lake and Littleton.

7. Mead (8-2)

Mead was another victim of Valor last week. The Mavericks have a three-game week with Skyline and Longmont back to back.

8. Sierra (6-3)

Three games on tap for the Stallions this week. Woodland Park, Mitchell, and Canon City.

9. Holy Family (7-3)

Tigers have three games this week with the biggest at Denver South on Saturday.

10. D’evelyn (8-2)

The Jaguars on back in the Top10 since being undefeated after the break. They will go to #2 Valor and then host Standley Lake this week.
