Basketball Colorado 4A Top10 Week of Jan 15th

The 4A Top10 has been fluctuating as much as the 5A rankings this season. Last week was no different with #2 Valor falling to #10 D’Evelyn and #4 Vista Peak losing to #5 Pueblo South at home.  This week should be just as exciting as last. 

Teams like Silver Creek, Durango, Evergreen and Mesa Ridge are flirting with breaking into the Top10.

1 . Sand Creek (12-1)

Sand Creek put up 106 on someone last week and will look to continue there fast paced way against Cheyenne Mountain and Palmer Ridge.

2. Pueblo West (10-1)

The Cyclones are ready to blow through league play with Centennial and County this week.

3.  Valor Christian (9-4)

Valor had their first loss in league play against D’Evelyn last week.  Evergreen with Michael Dillion and Rhys Sayler  will try to put another mark in the the Eagles loss column. The Eagles then take on Standley Lake.

4.  Pueblo South (8-4)

The Colts have Central and County as they begin South Central League play.

5.  Golden (11-2)

The Demons bounced back after the loss to Valor and went 2-0 last week. This week Golden goes on the road to Green Mountain and Evergreen.

6.  Vista Peak (9-2)

Vista Peak  back to full strength defeated Northridge. The Bison have three games this week Adams City, Aurora Central, and Silver Creek.  The Silver Creek game could be a real test for the Bison.

7.  D’Evelyn (10-2)

D’Evelyn moved up three spots after beating Valor last week. The Jaguars take on a Top 3A team at Faith Christian and then play Littleton and Green Mountain this week.

8. Mead (11-2)

The Mavericks keep on winning with Michael Ward and Alex Sandstrom leading the way. This week Mead takes on Windsor and then a big game with #10 Holy Family.

9. Sierra (9-3)

The Stallions  haven’t lost a game since Christmas break. Sierra has rival Harrison on Tuesday and then takes on TCA.

10. Holy Family (9-4)

The Tigers went 2-1 with the loss to now 5A Denver South last week. The Tigers have a big Top10 match up with #8 Mead on Friday but have to face Erie first.
