2016 CU Team Camp – Free
The University of Colorado will hold its annual high school boys basketball team camp June 2-4. The Coors Events Center main arena as well as eight other gyms will be used for the team camp that features six different divisions. Our eyes will be on the 5A and 4A varsity divisions.
The camp gets started at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday and wastes no time getting the action going, pitting Lakewood against Rock Canyon in the main arena. This could be a good game for both teams assuming that they are both full strength. The big match up in this one is Lakewood’s 2017 guard Kolton Peterson vs Rock Canyon’s 2018 guard Sam Masten. Masten is one of the top prospects in the class of 2018 while Peterson is one of the best shooters in the state and some will argue a top 10 player in his class.
Below is the schedule for the team camp lasting through Saturday. There is no admission fee but you will have to pay for parking.
